DUAL WINDING TLVR

Information:

TLVR (Through-Layer Via-Array Inductor) is a type of inductor that is commonly used in integrated circuits (ICs). Inductors are passive electronic components that store energy in a magnetic field when current flows through them. They are used in a wide range of electronic applications, such as filters, oscillators, and power supplies.

TLVR inductors are designed to have a small form factor and high inductance, making them ideal for use in ICs where space is limited. The TLVR structure consists of multiple metal layers separated by dielectric layers, with vias connecting the metal layers to form a spiral-shaped conductor.

The spiral conductor is then sandwiched between two magnetic layers, which increase the inductance of the structure by confining the magnetic field to the conductor. The magnetic layers can be made of a variety of materials, including nickel-iron alloys, permalloy, or thin-film magnetic materials.
